Manufacturer/reference information identifies the HS-WSBK as a transom-mount Skimmer transducer with a 20-degree cone angle for 192 kHz Lowrance, Eagle, and Sea Electronics units using the black or “BK” connector. LEI/Lowrance documentation notes that the HS-WS family can be installed on outboard or stern-drive boats and may also be used as a shoot-through-hull installation on some fiberglass hulls when properly mounted. The original Skimmer design uses a kick-up mounting concept to help reduce damage if the transducer strikes an object while underway.
